Teens invited to join museum volunteers

The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, 71 Hamilton St., New Brunswick, is accepting applications for the spring session of ZAMbassadors, the museum’s team of teen volunteers.

Highly motivated high school students in grades 10-12 are invited to become museum assistants and at the same time fulfill their community-service requirements.

The assistants may greet visitors, help a family with an art project, work on hands-on projects with children or assist with a Sunday- afternoon program or concert at the museum.

ZAMbassadors are trained by curators and museum educators. A committee of volunteer board members works with and monitors the students throughout the year.
