      The Sayreville War Memorial High School Hall of Fame on April 25 inducted its 2009 class: Gary DeLena (l-r), William Telepan, Donna Hummell, George Elmasry, Michael Saltzman and Richard Kosmoski. DeLena (class of 1970) is a comedian/actor; Telepan (1984) is the namesake and owner of an acclaimed New York restaurant; Hummell (1972) is a professor of pediatric immunology and rheumatology at Vanderbilt University; Elmasry (1996) is a physically disabled Rutgers Law School graduate who was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2006; Saltzman (1982) is a diplomate in urology and an active outdoorsman; and Kosmoski (1964) is a U.S. Navy veteran and Sayreville firefighter who saved three lives in a Wildwood fire, and is active in veterans' affairs.
